The Sterling bass is a great instrument, it differs from it´s older brother the Stingray in size, neck width, ceramic magnet pick-up and the coil selector, BUT this one is even better. Notice it has one to many knobs? well the extra one is for the PIEZO pickup. This pickup can be blended with the ceramic humbucker to give you great tone options and it makes the bass sound phat! 
Think of this bass as a slimmer bodied stingray with a jazz bass neck and a little more bite to it. 
What is wrong with this bass? Usually they are about €2600 new at least if you order it from Ernie Ball Music Man. Well this one is not even half that. Why? well the paint job is not original. Some previous owner did a refinish job in red. Still looks good though, plays incredibly well, and it gives you the opportunity to get a great deal on an awesome bass.  

El Sterling es un gran instrumento, difiere de su hermano mayor el Stingray en su tamaño, ancho de cejilla, pastilla de cerámica y el selector de bobinas, PERO este es aún mejor. ¿Veis que tiene una perilla extra? bueno la extra es para el micrófono PIEZOELECTRICO. Esta pastilla o pastillas más bien, se mezcla con el tono de la humbucker de cerámica y te ofrece un rango de tonalidades muy amplio, y hace que el bajo suene redondo!
Piensa que este instrumento es como un Stingray pero más delgado de cuerpo, con cuello de jazz bass y con un poco más de garra. 
¿Qué tiene de malo este bajo? Por lo general cuesta al menos €2600 nuevo si lo pides a Ernie Ball Music Man. Bueno este no cuesta ni la mitad de eso. ¿Porque? Pues, la pintura no es original. El dueño anterior decidió cambiarle el color a rojo. Aún así se ve  muy bien, se toca increíble y te da la oportunidad de comprar un gran instrumento a un precio muy bueno.
