On the roof of the hotel next to the cathedral you can have a couple of gin tonics -actually a delicious characterization of liquid art expression- looking at the horizon, at the endless sea.
The horses' hooves on the asphalt mark a rhythm reminiscent of castanets: sound like Andalusian music, sound like Paco de Lucia, who -from somewhere in the sky of the artists- will be looking at his beloved Andalusia, epicenter, these days, of the best six strings craftsmanship. We are visiting Malaga International Guitar Fair in its first edition.
Two exhibition areas: 30 stands in the Acoustic Space (lots of Spanish guitars, how could it be otherwise, known as 'classical' guitar worldwide), and more than 15 in the Electroacoustic.
There will be concerts, clinics, master classes, meetings, awards ...
On Saturday morning, the beautiful Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of the town is opening its doors, the atmosphere is still quiet, so we choose this moment to walk around among experts and curious, virtuous and dreamers, master luthiers and apprentices guitarists.
